компания "вкс-international house" bkc international house moscow is known for its values once established in international house - language helps to unite people, to bring joy and to expand the horizons. each year our students pass international exams with great results, allowing them to apply at the worldchr(39)s best universities and colleges. our methodology is renown for its effectiveness and is used in 160 schools of 58 countries in the world. we have long established history of successful cooperation with such partners as international house, the university of cambridge and the british council. teaching assistant position is open to start in august 2022. basic: support during maths and english lessons, assist with dressing, organize activities during the walk and breaks. we are looking for a friendly, cheerful and qualified teaching assistant to join our english language department. the successful candidate will be required to supervise a group of 6-10 children (year 1-4 uk national curriculum). the job description is as follows: - greeting children in the morning; - assisting children with dressing/undressing; - morning exercises for kids; - organising activities in the playground (the walk); - assisting children with homework tasks (english, math, science, ict); - taking care of children’s mental health (calm down, resolve a quarrel, motivate, etc.); - maintaining discipline within your group during all the lessons (including math and literacy); - supporting your group of kids during the lessons; - ensuring that the teacher is up to date on all issues pertaining to health and safety and safeguarding of children within the school; - organising the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment; - providing feedback to parents on a pupil’s progress at regular intervals (weekly/on demand); - coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area; - working with others to plan and coordinate work; - staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum; - taking part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening; - covering for colleagues where necessary; - accompanying children on trips to museums; - such other work as may be necessary for the safe and efficient running of the school. the successful candidate will have: - good communication skills, - an ability to communicate with all staff and children on an appropriate level, - good organisation skills, - an ability to work under pressure in a quickly changing environment, - an ability to work well in a team as a good team player, - good problem-solving skills and an ability to work under one’s own initiative to complete tasks, - enthusiasm, a willingness to learn new skills and a commitment to continued personal development, - a reasonable level of physical fitness (for morning exercises and fun activities). essential qualifications & skills: higher education (primary school or english teacher); english level certificete; some experience of working in a similar area, preferably within a school environment.
