Senior Data Engineer, Health Insurance

компания "dataart" our client is a technology-driven, consumer-focused health insurance company founded in 2012 and headquartered in new york city. the client’s goal is to make health insurance simple, transparent, and human. the data platform team is responsible for the developing tools for data users across the organization. we remove data silos, democratize data, and empower data scientists, operations, engineers, and our partners to make data-driven decisions. as a data engineer on the data platform team, you will play a leading role in building a secure data platform to tackle the challenges around orchestration, resource management, and building tools and ml frameworks for data scientists and engineers. the project team is a typical scrum-like team of professionals who love their job. we are looking for an experienced data engineer with knowledge of python. python, flask framework, javascript, react, postgresql, kafka, grpc. responsibilities: design and implement platform services, frameworks, and data workflows for data scientists, ml engineers, and operational teams develop and socialize technical solutions and frameworks that the broader data science and engineering teams can leverage to ship production-hardened data products at increasing scale and velocity drive efficiency and reliability improvements through design and automation: performance, scaling, observability, and monitoring identify limitations and required features in the data platform with peer teams to design and implement them requirements: bachelorchr(39)s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field 3-5 years of experience as a python developer in a production environment expert knowledge of python and related frameworks like flask able to hit the ground running in a command line and scripting environment understanding of relational databases like postgresql basic understanding of front-end technologies like react experience working with test-driven development and unit test frameworks, strong testing and debugging skills both an independent individual contributor and team player with good english communication skills be plus experience with kafka and rpc frameworks like grpc
