Middle/Senior Ruby Developer, Medical Services App

компания "dataart" client ukchr(39)s market-leading consumer healthcare platform connecting patients with healthcare practices. company is expanding rapidly across the uk and currently works with 3500+ private doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and podiatrists, in addition to private and nhs dentists. the platform consists of different software components that have been developed by dataartchr(39)s specialists. project overview we are working on the customer-facing website, the backend, the api (ruby on rails), a web application for booking visits to doctors and managing calendars and alerts as well as completing hospital-constructed patient questionnaires. also, the web application provides an opportunity for patients to read appointment and clinical letters. position overview we expect the specialist to be a quick learner and comfortable working across front-end and back-end technology stacks to develop business logic and database layers. responsibilities writing and testing effective, scalable code developing back-end components and apis test and debug programs collaboration in international team requirements 3+ years of development experience solid knowledge of a core ruby (oop, metaprogramming) working experience with ruby on rails experience with rdbms (postgresql is preferred) and redis-like data stores experience designing and building restful api services and integrating with 3rd party applications able to work with cloud technologies (aws s3, lambda), skills using devops tools experience using docker experience in building ui logic using javascript preferably using vue.js (or similar libraries like react or angular) spoken english nice to have skills working with agile, continuous integration, tdd knowledge of microservices architecture
