компания "dins" what youchr(39)ll do: you will become a part of the bigdata team at a large us-based international company, a leader in enterprise voip communication solutions, messaging, and video conferencing. the team is primarily focusing on developing software for processing large amounts of data and performing various maintenance and data mining tasks using various open-source and proprietary frameworks (hadoop ecosystem, cloud solutions, etc.). the ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with java or scala (senior or lead java/scala developer) and wish to start a team leader career. the technology stack includes apache spark, apache airflow, apache hadoop (hdfs, yarn), apache flume, hp vertica, mongodb, aws ecosystem, and snowflake. your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to: design, implementation, and support of big data applications in heterogeneous and rapidly changing environments using wide stack of modern technologies for data processing. work with the team on modeling complex relationships in data environments. build, validate and optimize large-scale, corporate-wide big data solutions. clarify project requirements and communicate project statuses to business users. support the knowledge-sharing in a friendly environment of the team. skills & requirements: 3+ years of java/scala programming experience. java (collections, serialization, multi-threading, lambda expressions, jvm architecture, and options, etc.). ansi sql (understanding of query syntax, performance, olap vs oltp). ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies. understanding of architecture patterns in distributed systems. would be a plus: overall understanding of the hadoop stack and its components. hands-on experience with hadoop, spark, or kafka. basic knowledge of python. experience with data visualization/analysis tools (e.g., tableau). hands-on experience with designing etl processes. knowledge of linux command-line interface. experience with cloud-based infrastructure (aws). written and spoken english – upper-intermediate or higher. conditions: work for foreign company (georgia), further relocation to spain or estonia. relocation bonus. well-coordinated professional team. cutting edge technologies, interesting and challenging tasks, dynamic project, great opportunities for self-realization, professional and career growth. job placement and payment of salary take place according to the labor code, as well as vacation and sick lists. corporate training programs, english language courses.
