компания "dins" rcv team is developing video meeting and collaboration platform built from the ground up by ringcentral to address today’s dynamic workforcechr(39)s changing behaviours. ringcentral video is tightly integrated into market-leading ringcentral mvp application and allows users to join meetings instantly, share their screens, and get work done faster. as an sre manager (rcv team), you will: manage operations teams which are responsible for our video conferencing service delivery and its reliability; increase the accuracy of planning, meet commitments and deadlines; optimize the delivery flow and architecture of service in collaboration with service developers and other teams; establish solid and reliable budget management (public clouds, on-premise hardware procurement, and delivery), apply a culture of costs savings to your engineers and your requestors; develop team leads, engineers in your teams with high-class people management; define the slis, slos and slas then. for product and for the team as well; eliminate competencies drift, bus factors and bottlenecks in your teams; dive into the modern ci/cd technical stack; review and improve in-team processes in a structured, documented, efficient way; handle the architecture changes, infrastructure migration, refactor deployment processes; see how the service is changing day-by-day. our requirements: at least 2 years of experience of managing people, teams as manager solid understanding of what devops is, what sre is, what are its limitations, strengths, weaknesses, how to implement it, use it, measure it and so on; technical background in system/network administration; linux administration (real past experience); understanding of modern network protocols used for web-based applications, security; routing, media transmit; virtualization and containerization: docker, good understanding and practical experience with kubernetes; expertise in public clouds: aws: computing, storage, virtual networking, load balancing (understanding how it works, how to use it in real applications placed in your cloud). solid understanding of sdlc. experience with modern ci/cd best practices and experience with its implementation. gitops approach is a must; experience in project delivery and project management phases, including the practices on each phase; following management skills: leadership, conflict resolution, goals setting, performance measurement, feedback giving, documentation, process ownership, people management, people development, people motivation, team vision and strategy formation; outstanding responsibility. location: spain, valencia. hybrid work regime starting in 2023. will be a plus, please mention it during the interview: deep expertise in kubernetes, cka, experience with cnis, and kubernetes extensions; gitops approach with flux2/argocd as gitops operator; have already built high-performance sre team; good scripting/development skills, applied to team analytics and ability to present it via dashboards, presentations and so on; presentation experience; teaching experience. conditions: well-coordinated professional team; cutting edge technologies, interesting and challenging tasks, dynamic project, great opportunities for self-realization, professional and career growth; job placement and payment of salary take place according to the labor code, as well as vacation and sick lists; corporate training programs, english language courses.
