Senior / Principal C++/Qt/QML developer

компания "schneider group" senior / principal c++/qt/qml developer (relocate) we are looking for talented people for our client, famous american company working on artificial intelligence development. we’re looking for engineers to participate in automotive infotainment system chr(40)head-unitchr(41) hmi development for one of largest european car manufacturer. infotainment system is an embedded device that implements digital instrument cluster, central touchscreen, heads-up display (hud) etc. main tasks for such engineer will be development and maintenance of the hmi layer in the product, including prototyping and development of user interface using qt and qt 3d studio tool, ui optimization on the target, etc. you will become a part of a large team and join one of key international automotive projects with personnel in emea/apac. the project is responsible for infotainment system software development and maintenance, and the team is responsible for hmi part of that. hmi team contains of 20+ engineers working with qt/qml-based hmi. what you will do you would be asked to participate as a senior (principal/lead) ui developer in one of several scrum teams, focused on a specific hmi area or product functionality/domain. project and teams are using agile process to interact with customer and ci to build software. you would be asked to attend our daily stand-up meetings, handle development tasks, interact with product management team and participate in product demos, etc. your main responsibilities: for senior: hmi (ui) prototyping using qml complex ui development using qml, including animations hmi application debugging / performance optimizations development and maintenance of hmi layer business logic using c++/qt defects corrections for principal: development and maintenance of hmi layer business logic using c++/qt development of state-of-the-art hmi ui using qt/qml harman hmi applications framework/toolkit updates/refactoring hmi application performance optimizations (cpu, memory, bootup time, etc) defects correction you will be also asked to participate in code-reviews communication with foreign teammates and the customer mentoring of new engineers knowledge sharing sessions with the team what we are looking for 3-5 (5-8 for principal) years practical experience with c++ 3+ (3-5 for principal) years’ experience developing ui with qt and qml english at b1 level experience working in agile/scrum experience with git/svn what is nice to have: opengl experience, shaders implementation; linux graphics stack/wayland knowledge; english at b2 level or higher; experience in hmi software development for automotive what we offer impact on future technology development relocation to armenia (yerevan) relocation package extensive training opportunities through our own university competitive wellness benefits tuition reimbursement an inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development
