компания "air products central asia group" project manager karshi, uzbekistan we’re recruiting! air products are a global technical gases company offering attractive opportunities for personal and career development. we are excited to be recruiting our newest talent in karshi, uzbekistan. we strive to create a workplace ecosystem where all employees can reach their full potential both in professional and personal aspects. if you are interested in joining an established, unique international company, read on… who are we?.... at air products, wechr(39)ve been helping our customers to become more productive, energy efficient and sustainable for more than 80 years. with approximately 19,000 employees and operations in 50 countries, we serve customers across a wide range of industries from food and beverage to medical, energy and transportation. globally, we supply a unique portfolio of atmospheric and process gases, equipment and services. we are proud to be building our workforce within uzbekistan. we are looking for a project manager to join our team based in karshi. you will report to the engineering manager and will have one subordinate in direct report. in this role you will be responsible for executing assigned projects and achieving project goals in support of the business areas. the project manager has a dual role as project development engineer (pde) and project execution engineer: the pde role requires leadership of a pde team to define the scope and execution strategy of a project and compile cost estimates which are suitable for ear (expenditure authorization request) generation purposes, sales or contract extensions. the project execution engineer leads a project team in defining and completing an agreed upon scope of supply from design through procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover. the project manager assumes ownership of the project budget, schedule, and technical quality to achieve the project and business objectives established at the start of the project. a typical project team consists of a matrixed organization of other production specialist disciplines and design groups and may also include external contractors and consultants. as the project manager you will: provide leadership in safety, cost, scope definition and execution. work closely with the business area and line management to develop the opportunity into a well-defined estimate that meets the requirements of the scope of supply. provide technical point of contact to the business area for assigned projects. ensure that proposals and projects comply with company standards and procedures, as well as industry and country legislation and regulation. execute projects as assigned to meet or exceed project schedule, budget, and quality requirements. this includes, as required by the specific project, performing and/or the coordination of resources to complete the design, procurement fabrication, installation, start-up and commissioning tasks. supervise, develop, mentor and coach allocated project engineers. provides technical leadership in program / project definition, planning, execution, and evaluation. serves as technical trainer for other less experienced project engineers. you will have: required a minimum of 15 years total relevant experience in managing plant modification projects on gas/oil operating plants, involving all project lifetime phases. required relevant site construction supervision experience. good command / effective operational proficiency in both uzbek, russian and english language. broad general technical knowledge and principles, i.e. process, machinery, electrical, pics. seasoned professional, technically astute. ability to lead construction safety management adequate and timely coordination for members of the project to meet the project’s goals and ability to adjust to the unexpected and adapt prior knowledge to unique situations ability to distinguish between the contractual needs and desires of the customer to manage and resolve scope issues that may arise teamwork skills supported by negotiation, interpersonal coordinating skills ability to attain, share and maintain appropriate knowledge and skills within the group ability and willingness to travel for shorter (days) site inspections and longer (weeks) plant construction periods. what we offer:at air products, we work in an environment where diversity is essential, inclusion is our culture, and each person knows they belong and matter we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a culture of respect, challenge and innovation – with excellent opportunities for growth and development. our benefits include but are not limited to: annual leave entitlement -
