Job responsibilities: • To provide a high quality of customer service by motivating, leading and managing a team that understands the real business needs of their customers (internal and / or external) in order to provide a cost-effective and efficient trade finance/documentary operations services that meet customers’ strategic and commercial objectives and ensures that the Bank complies with all the legal requirements and is fully protected at all times.• Responsible for chapter competency through a culture of improvement and ensuring professional growth. Support squad processes and help with specialists allocation to the squad.• In addition to provide specific trade finance/documentary operations skills, knowledge, support and guidance across all areas of the Bank. Key experience: 1. The ability to create, use and explain management information in relation to team performance, business performance, budgets.2. The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers as well as local governing and regulatory bodies, partner banks etc.3. Participation in TF area, KYC/legal and other conferences / forums / panels to know trends, issues and best practices.4. The ability to facilitate business discussions and negotiate successful outcomes.5. Making sure that the Bank never defaults on any transaction. This involves liaising with different parts of the organisation.
