компания "аддвайз" having extensive retail experience, the director of financial planning and analysis (fp&a) is responsible for providing direction to the fp&a team and senior management throughout the organizations on the overall planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of the companychr(39)s financial performance. develops and manages financial analysis procedures, as well as identifying and prioritizing recommended actions. in addition, the director of fp&a leads execution of financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. the director of fp&a prepares and maintains metric-driven financial models used to budget, forecast and evaluate company profitability and perform additional analysis as requested. objectives of this role • interact proactively and collaboratively with senior management and their teams on a regular basis• manage annual planning and budgeting process company-wide• continuously develop tools/systems and automate processes; manage the implementation of budgeting and forecasting solutions to streamline the forecasting and budgeting processes and provide enhanced reporting functionality• build clear, accurate and reliable predictive forecast modeling for company and multiple functional areas• build strong financial models for the company, utilizing understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information• identify key data sources and utilize data-driven insights about important departmental metrics to improve business decisions• coordinate, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual rolling forecasts and prepare reporting on actuals vs. budgeted results, including additional ad-hoc analysis on results• establish budget and operating benchmarks, to assist in preparation of monthly / annual forecasts• maintain awareness of proper internal controls and make recommendations for any deficiencies• prepare other reports and participate in other special projects as requested responsibilities: • develop, implement and keep updated appropriate and required policies, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties and systems in place• educate, build and maintain employee’s knowledge and capabilities with regard to accounting and control procedures• ensuring that the organization has the financial systems, policies, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties and security access in place to safe guard assets and data• prevent or detect fraud and conflicts of interest.• promote accurate and timely internal and external reporting and analysis• ensure compliance with contracts, debt covenants, and contractual obligations; and ensure clean financial audits• preparing accurate, comprehensive, timely statutory financial reports and information in support of the company’s internal and external reporting requirements.• continuously improve how the accounting and reporting function can support other functions and their day-2day operations with a view to support the cfo and the senior leadership in integrating finance with other functions. requirements: skills and qualifications • a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in similar role• prior experience managing a fp&a function• exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills• proficient knowledge of ifrs• advanced quantitative and analytical skills• strong financial modeling skills, along with understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information• must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks while meeting deadlines• solid computer skills with proficiency in ms excel and working with a large erp/financial system• ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives• ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and outside parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results• strong written and verbal communication skills• capability to make decisions under pressure• strong presentation skills• fluent russian and english skills preferred qualifications • professional certification—appropriate certification, degree at master’s level in finance• strong attention to deadlines and budgetary control/guidelines• experience developing in-house procedures and internal processes and documentation of these• experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets. terms and conditions: • competitive compensation• candidate shall be ready to relocate to uzbekistan
