компания "xometry europe gmbh" who we are: xometry.eu is the worldchr(39)s largest on-demand manufacturing platform that is changing the manufacturing industry. our international network of more than 14000 partners allows us to offer a wide range of machining technologies: cnc machining, sheet metal machining, 3d printing and others. xometry customers include bmw, bosch, dell technologies, general electric and nasa. our business model: through the efforts of our sales and marketing team, we receive hundreds of production orders every day - from individual metal products to spare parts for the worldchr(39)s leading electric vehicle manufacturer. these orders are distributed through our network of manufacturing partners. our operations team monitors fulfillment and delivery to customers, as well as controlling payments and resolving problem cases, should they arise. and most of the processes that are part of the process are automated using our proprietary it platform, which combines marketplace, crm and erp functions. thanks to its flexibility, speed and scalability, our decentralised production model successfully competes with classic machine companies. we are rapidly growing and expanding our business both geographically and technologically.we are looking for an it systems technical support specialist to strengthen the it team (working remotely.responsibilities: technical support and administration of users and it infrastructure; sourcing equipment for employees (including logistics for remote workers); preparation of new hardware, including initial software setup; work with service desk; monitoring software license turnover; participation in planning of information systems of the company, infrastructure development, participation in it projects of the company; create/remove/account users; supervise and directly participate in remote technical support; handling incoming requests from employees, problem solving, counseling; monitoring of user infrastructure and services; development of fault tolerance and reliability of the companychr(39)s services; interfacing with other departments to identify it and is requirements for office infrastructure. requirements: professional education; 2 years experience in a similar function; english conversation level at least b1; knowledge and skills in system administration (windows ad, microsoft azure, google workspace, okta); experience in technical support of sip clients/applications; general understanding of gdpr requirements; general understanding of information security requirements; understanding of networking principles, ip addressing, routing; understanding of the principles of building remote access technologies (vpn, remote access, etc.); desirable: knowledge of scripting languages (bash, powershell, python); basic knowledge of sql; knowledge of modern distributed teams technologies; understanding of cloud services principles; knowledge of itil/itsm. terms & conditions: fully remote working mood; ​salary based on the results of the interview. ​8-hour working day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by germany time (gmt+1); registration as an private entrepreneur or selfemployed (service contract agreement); we provide a laptop and monitor; paid leave of 25 working days.
