Senior Economist

Consulting company Swift Technical (formerly Airswift) is engaged in the selection and provision of qualified personnel for large Russian and international enterprises in various industries (manufacturing, energy, chemistry, petrochemistry, automotive, mechanical engineering, etc.). We are currently looking for a Senior Economist for an international oil and gas company. Responsibilities: Prepare economic part of the dossier for investments, including presentation and participation (on management request) to approval committees. Write economic Note. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure that the economic model and inputs give a fair and transparent view of the related asset. Explain results as requested. To interact with Economist in order to provide results for consolidation of assets. Economic Models set-up and updates: propose, get approval from local management and implement updates to Economic Model. Explain and provide factor analysis for year-on-year changes, for each main financial indicator and compare with other processes. Check alignment between Plan and Budget. Perform computation required for financial publications. Provide supporting evidence for SOX controls RES02, FAS03, FASO4. Perform economic evaluation for routine processes. Maintain «Modelling Recap», to keep consistency with taxes regulation and laws, contractual terms etc. Substitute Lead Economist during Lead Economist’s absence. Requirements: Master degree (preferably business or finance) 6+ years of experience in Finance, Business or Oil and Gas Operation Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel and economics modeling High level of computer literacy – Microsoft Excel / Visual Basic English – advanced level Conditions: Competitive salary Social package Annual bonus Modern office in the center of Moscow
