компания "суровский ресорсис" yildirim holding kazakhstan is searching for a motivated senior geologist about yildirim group yildirim group of companies is a vertically integrated turkish industrial conglomerate based in istanbul, turkey. the company currently operates in 8 industries: metals and mining, coal and coke, energy, fertilizers and chemicals, port management, shipping and logistics, construction and real estate, and financial investments. since 2008, when yildirim group made its first international acquisition in sweden, the company has grown into a global force with operations in 54 countries on 4 continents and over 13.000 employees worldwide. primary duties and responsibilities: propose new exploration ideas and targets in the region that are ranked based on both economic and geological criteria supervise and manage project geologist to perform geologic field reconnaissance and mapping for the identification of geologic hazards select and prioritize drill targets from a variety of geologic setting within the regional and/or mine environment; design and coordinate subsequent exploration efforts compile and manage incoming drilling data, interpret results, plot, present to management, engineering, planners on a timely basis, monitor qa-qc process daily management and interaction of drilling teams or contractors, performing safety inspections and expediting re-supply of consumables as needed utilize geological, geophysical and geochemical survey tools to support development additional targets within large land package, and prioritize exploration efforts provide technical guidance to junior professionals and technicians assigned to work on a common project or technical area evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities. lead several project in a specific region. common duties and responsibilities: ensuring that all company safety standards, policies, and procedures are followed along with the occupational health and safety act and the mining act and regulations supervise the progress of an exploration team consisting of geologists, technicians and contractors on several active projects while ensuring best practices are maintained work schedule: shift method of work, 15/15. knowledge of english: advanced level of oral and written business english
