Claims & Demurrage Negotiator (Dubai)

We are looking for an international organization specialized in trading of Oil with relocation to: Dubai/Istanbul/Riga Abilities, skills, and experience: -​ ​ ​ At least 3 years’ experience in shipping industry (either with shipowners or charterers).​ -​ ​ ​ Understanding of shipping claims – demurrage/detention/speed up/heating/dues. -​ ​ ​ Understanding of English Maritime Law / Admiralty Law principles. -​ ​ ​ Good ability to work as part of the team. -​ ​ ​ Attention to details, ability to work with routine tasks and to analyze documents and massive volume of data. -​ ​ ​ English proficiency – at least B2 – good vocabulary in business and legal areas. -​ ​ ​ Seagoing experience is a benefit. ​Tasks and responsibilities: -​ ​ ​ Scrutinizing incoming shipping claims.​ -​ ​ ​ Re-billing counterparties. -​ ​ ​ Maintaining record of claims as per company standards. -​ ​ ​ Reporting to Head of Claims of the company when required. -​ ​ ​ Claims Team: 10 employees globally. ​ ​The package is welocme to discuss. fix, bonuses, insurance.
