компания "wabtec corporation, тм (филиал компании «транспортейшн глоубэл эл-эл-си»в республике казахстан)" please note this role is not opened, this is for possible opening in 2023. this role will be responsible for the overall operational finance execution, financial forecasting, and controllership of the freight equipment business in the cis region, serving as a business partner to the operations team to drive the successful implementation of wabtec’s freight equipment contracts in the country. there will be a strong emphasis on strong execution of transactional portfolio, process improvement, simplification, system set ups and forecasting (operating profit and cash). the senior finance manager demonstrates accountability for functional and business objectives. in this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy while partnering with the operations team. serve as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability and provide financial leadership to establish and accomplish freight equipmentchr(39)s financial goals in the cis region partner with regional commercial leaders to provide inputs and analyze proposed deals to drive achievement of freight equipment’s financial metrics establish operating forecasts and plans, including analyzing, reporting and maintaining financial operations in support of operational activities, goals and targets drive execution of commercial contracts with a focus on revenue recognition guidance/tracking as well as strong cash management related to customer collections lead the monthly financial close process for freight equipment customer contracts in the cis region qualifications/requirements bachelorchr(39)s degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance or related field at least 10 years of experience in finance roles (financial planning & analysis / operational finance /controllership) fluent in english language (writing, reading, speaking, listening) strong analytical skills knowledge and preferably previous experience working with gaap standards must have legal authorization to work in kazakhstan desired characteristics acca certified previous work experience at big 4 companies previous financial/accounting experience related to long-term contracts previous experience working with oracle ability to work in a matrix organization strong oral and written communication skills strong interpersonal and leadership skills
