компания "four seasons hotel lion palace" four seasons hotel lion palace st petersburg is seeking a highly motivated and service-minded individual to join the team. our purpose is to create impressions that will stay with our guest for a lifetime. it comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and world around us. our "golden rule" states: we seek to treat others as we would have them treat us. four seasons hotel lion palace is currently seeking for an assistant director of purchasing, who will be responsible for coordination and management of overall operations of the purchasing, receiving and storeroom department to ensure that all departments of the hotel have adequate supplies to perform their duties in an efficient manner. assistant director of purchasing is a part of the entity’s finance division, purchasing directly reporting to the director of purchasing and involved in the day-to-day activities of the entity through the interaction with the entity’s employees, contractors, representatives of the governmental authorities and agencies. reponsibilities: must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to all levels of management. plan, organize, lead and control different projects and activities within the purchasing functions. keep appropriate close contacts with business partners and constantly up to date with latest product and market information. supervise, train and motivate purchasing department employees to thoroughly understand all of their duties and responsibilities. prepare and review staff schedules in accordance with business needs. supervise the day-to-day functions of the receiving clerk and store clerks and ensure that all items received by the hotel are properly documented in accordance with four seasons purchasing and receiving procedures. complete the corporate annual operating equipment and supply requirements with the corporate purchasing department and the appropriate hotel department heads, including quarterly review and updаtеof annual forecasts. conduct frequent quality control audits to ensure staff is properly trained and following established procedures. coordinate and participate as necessary in all month-end, quarterly or annual inventories of food, beverage, operating equipment and supplies. coordinate, observe and prepare all operating equipment and supply inventories in accordance with corporate policies and as directed by the director of finance. to fulfill and act on oral and/or written assignments, tasks, instructions and orders of the immediate supervisor, as well as other competent officials and authorized representatives of the company. requirements: university degree. three year experience in accounting related position. command of english language on the level of advanced. efficient and graceful multi-tasking skills. general management skills. ability to operate operating equipment as necessary. ability to operate computer equipment and /software systems including but not limited with microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint) on the level of experienced user in and other hotel computer equipment. benefits offered: work in the international hotel chain of the "lux" class. legal job placement, paid vacation and sick leave. extended social package - free meals at the employee restaurant, voluntary health insurance, uniform, service delivery, opportunity to learn english. corporate education, training according to the highest standards of four seasons hotel chain. opportunity for professional and career advancement. work shifts 5/2 with floating days off. if you have read the vacancy carefully and wish to join our team, start your cover letter with the words "i want to work at four seasons" and tell us a little about yourself and your personality.
