Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

компания "jaxel" who we’re looking for: jaxel is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced senior software development engineer in test to join our productivity engineering team. as a member of the team, you will help to drive and improve developer experience from the first commit to deployment with our client. what you’ll do: manual functional testing of client-server web application design and develop automated test tools for integration, functional, and end-to-end testing. extend and maintain ci/cd automation suites and toolsets for use by other engineers. actively collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality systems and identify pain points in the development process. participate in agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, and reviews and retrospectives. ability to work efficiently in a multi-project environment. deep developer advocacy and knowledge of amazing developer experiences. you strive to build the tools you wish you had. what you’ll need to succeed: 5+ years of experience in functional testing with microservices architecture cloud deployment using aws or other clouds automated testing (cypress, java, junit) positive, solution-oriented approach and mindset required effective communication skills, regularly achieve consensus with peers, clear status updates jenkins ci pipelines and automation experience(kubernetes and spinnaker) diagnosing, repairing and preventing performance and optimization problems success (datadog) experience with sql database (postgres) git experience in a workspace environment working knowledge of server side react (next.js) and/or server side apis (expressjs, restify) nice to have experience with thrift, grpc, websockets product and/or enterprise company experience english level – b2+
