Marketing Operations Assistant at Truv - a US-based startup that helps companies verify the income and employment of users who apply for a job or a loan (remote). Truv is a way for consumers to complete income and employment verifications easily and with their consent by leveraging their payroll accounts. The startup provides an API to customer companies, allowing them to rapidly verify details of consumer employment and making it easy for companies’ customers to verify their income and identity. The company is backed by top VCs & angels, such as Kleiner Perkins and NYCA. Truv’s service allows regular people to provide access to their employment data to others, allowing for the verification of their income or employment quickly. They can share it with whomever they want, revoke access, and have transparency around the processes that require personal information and background checks. They don’t want people’s data to be a black box anymore, or for accessing it to be a painstaking process for employers or service providers. Now Colton Pond, ‌the Head of Marketing at Truv, is in need of a Marketing Operations Assistant to help him with marketing-related and personal activities. If you want to develop in the sphere of marketing and assistance, submit your application now! What will you do? Your tasks will be divided into two sections: tasks related to Marketing Operations and responsibilities as an Executive Assistant to Colton, the Head of Marketing, with a distribution of around 50/50. Travel management - Colton travels a lot, so he needs help managing documents, booking flights and hotels, getting high-quality service at lower rates, etc. Calendar management - Colton wants you to keep his schedule relevant and up-to-date, so youchr(39)ll need to manage his calendar and all the meetings, calls, and tasks there. Work with marketing data - youchr(39)ll need to fill in and update data in Salesforce after each meeting (for example, you might be asked to manually update formulas in the CRM system to always get relevant numbers due to some outliers). Outreach tasks - contact different people for podcasts, events, news outlets to schedule a webinar, etc. Logistics tasks - youchr(39)ll need to book venues for marketing events and other activities. Other possible tasks related to Marketing & Operations. Requirements: Excellent written & spoken English skills - you will be communicating with Colton, the team, and the company’s potential partners who are native English speakers; we donchr(39)t want to hear or see any mistakes. Excellent attention to detail – you should be the person who cares about every small detail while planning trips, and working with data & emails. Multitasking skills - you feel confident juggling multiple types of tasks at a time. Strong desire & ability to learn and develop - you get carried away when you learn more about tools, software, and technologies, and you want to grow professionally in the company and bring value. Self-reliance and proactivity - you are a person who can work under little or no supervision, always make sure to complete your tasks, and meet deadlines. You never hesitate to suggest new ideas. Flexibility - you’ll need to work with different people in different departments, so we expect you to be able to adjust to their needs and means of communication. Not necessary, but will be a great plus: Previous experience in planning trips - you know how to book the best accommodation and hotels, find suitable flights, etc. Working hours: Colton expects you to work from 8 am to 4 pm New York time (you may check the time difference via the link). Also, please keep in mind that every Monday, at 2 pm New York time, the company has big marketing calls, and you need to be ready to join these calls every week. What we offer: Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). Please note that we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.
