компания "montreal polymers" montreal polymers is a plastic recycling and trading company providing toll grinding and shredding services. plastic that can not be recycled can always find a better home. our main priority is to keep plastic away from landfill and to conserve our planet. every year montreal polymers recycles more than thousands of tons of plastic. our goal is to provide exceptional service, use leading practices, and grow as a team. fresh graduated are welcome. we provide extensive training and our employees grow with the company within. responsibilities: handle international logistics projects for both inbound and outbound shipments arrange and negotiate road, rail, sea, or air freight rates with carriers perform organizing, shipping, and delivering materials worldwide in a smooth, timely, and cost-effective manner provide assistance in maintaining logistics planning tasks, shipment scheduling, and invoice priority lists support and work closely with the warehouse in scheduling inbound/outbound shipments ensure effective timely and accurate data entry, and availability of all documentation, including uploading information on the erp system, crm pipelines prepare shipping and export documentation required for international shipments assist customers in import/export clearance coordinate with freight forwarders and transportation companies to obtain and updаtеthe shipment tracking information for customers arrange and negotiate freight rates with carriers to ensure shipments are done cost-effectively prepare and maintain shipment documentation packages for reference purposes, packing lists perform other tasks within the logistics team as and when required develop great customer relationships to improve business performance communicate with sales and other functional areas to resolve customer issues in a timely manner monitor all shipments, cargo movement processes develop effective routings for import and export cargo initiate/confirm bookings, work on direct booking obtainment a central point of contact for external customers on transportation and logistics perform other duties as assigned by management requirements: bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain, or a similar degree good knowledge of the supply chain processes experience working in such areas as warehousing or transportation project management experience, experienced use of project management software intermediate to advanced skills with microsoft excel required project management experience, experienced use of erp systems must have strong math skills ability to work with little supervision while handling multiple priorities well-developed negotiation skills good coordination and organizational abilities excellent written and verbal communication in english and french decisive, assertive, detail-oriented, accurate, analytical, deadline-oriented customer focused excellent problem-solving skills project management skills conditions: the company hq is located in montreal, canada, however, this position requires working closely with the coo preferably from almaty. employees in almaty work from a co-working space 5/2 full-time job. working hours are 8:30 - 17:00 montreal time. candidates must be prepared to work late hours if from almaty
