Between the 4 core partners, theychr(39)ve collectively raised over $20M and sold 3 companies before starting XOXO. The team most often purchases from a small group of founders who want to completely exit the business. They have the skills to take over engineering and take the company to the next level. Theychr(39)re interested in growing the company, not shutting it down. Currently, the team is looking for 2 brave Junior CEOs who are not afraid and want to manage the purchased businesses, and are ready to lead these small companies to success. As a JR CEO, you will be responsible for revenue growth of 1 of the bought SaaS businesses that operate under a freemium model. Youchr(39)ll need to continuously drive new free users and free signups into paid ones. It means that you will be juggling between different responsibilities, just like a real CEO: Having lots of conversations: it could be anything from having a conversation with the engineering team about new features of the product, with potenatial customers and partners via email, texts and calls. Sales, marketing, and reporting tasks: doing various sales- and marketing-related tasks: youchr(39)ll do sales calls (the company has scripts for that, and can train you on how to do that), managing and creating weekly reports As for the marketing, youchr(39)ll need to suggest the content ideas to a content writer, sometimes write the content yourself, find partnerships for backlink purposes, manage the main marketing channels (LinkedIn & Twitter), and improve SEO campaigns. Making customers happy through calls, texts, and emails. Requirements: Excellent written & spoken English skills - you will be communicating with the team, and the company’s potential customers who are native English speakers; we donchr(39)t want to hear or see any mistakes. Ongoing/complete Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, since it will be easier for you to adapt to the specifics of the companychr(39)s activities and you will be able to quickly integrate into the companychr(39)s culture with such a background. Strong Marketing background - you know how to manage Twitter and LinkedIn; youchr(39)re familiar with SEO, content writing, etc. Strong understanding of product-led growth strategies. Powerful oral & written communication skills - you can find an approach to even the most difficult person; you are not afraid to ask questions and express your opinion. Excellent attention to detail – you should be the person who cares about every small detail while working with data, emails and reports. Multitasking skills - you feel confident juggling multiple types of tasks at a time. Strong desire & ability to learn and develop - you get carried away when you learn more about tools, software, and technologies, and you want to grow professionally in the company and bring value. Youchr(39)re a self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements. Self-reliance and proactivity - you are a person who can work under little or no supervision, always make sure to complete your tasks, and meet deadlines. You never hesitate to suggest new ideas. Organizing skills - you have to be able to track your own tasks, what you need to do & where you’re stuck, so you need to be a well-organized person. Not necessary, but will be a great plus: Previous startup/product-led growth experience. Previous experience in building your own business. Working hours: The team is quite flexible in terms of working hours but theychr(39)d like you to work between 9 am and 5 pm Texas time (CST, you may check the time difference via the link). What we offer: Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). For this vacancy, we consider also senior last-year students, who are able to work during the needed hours, or recent graduates.
