Finance Specialist

About the role Finance specialist (FS) is a part of the Global Finance team within our Group. Two roles of the Finance specialist. Primary role is based on Finance project activities, second one – is management accounting of international legal entities, transaction processing, interaction with accounting team responsible for local tax reporting. Business accounting (outsourcing) management accounting transactions in 1C when Finance Shared Service Center appeared. Project role is based on data reconciliation between different sources of information (incl 1C, xls, CRM data, etc), data correction, posting in 1C. Cross-function liaison within Business department (Sales). Project team to construct accounting processes in model to-be. Providing insightful and value-added analysis of current accounting and stating requirements, also creating procedures for new centrally-controlled management accounting. Responsibilities Reporting to Finance controller, FS will execute the following tasks: Data reconciliation for aligning and adjusting posting correct transaction in 1C Creating due to requirements of Finance team storage area for documents (on Sharepoint space) Interaction with local reporting team, providing them all the documentation enough for tax reporting Project communication, working group meetings facilitation Collection and posting primary documentation of companies located abroad in management accounting Reconciliation check with partners abroad – developers, local lawyers, etc. Checking expenses reports approval by line manager (for legal entities in non-Russian legislation) Month-end close process: work with other departments such as Accounts Receivable and General Ledger to close open issues from the period and close the accounting period following the company’s closing deadline Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional accounting in RAS Significant financial (3+ years) experience as an accountant and/or economist, experience in an international company is appreciated Good analytical ability, critical thinking Experience in supporting financial roles is preferrable Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Russian language skills Written English communication skills are preferable
