Technologist (pipeline transportation of hydrocarbons and pumping technologies)

Wechr(39)re looking for a Technologist with experience in providing field trials of Drag Reducing Agents for pipeline transportation of hydrocarbons at the customerchr(39)s facilities. The vacancy requires regular business trips (up to a month) at the customerchr(39)s facilities to provide field trials in different areas of MENA (Middle East and North Africa). Main responsibilities: Carrying out hydraulic calculations for Drag Reducing Agent (DRA), including indicating the calculated dosages and efficiency; Development and coordination of programs acts, and reports trials of drag reducing agent with customers; Participation in the DRA field trial at the customerchr(39)s facilities; 24/7 DRA dosing at the customerchr(39)s facilities. DRA effectiveness analysis and oil pipeline utilization during DRA using Negotiations with the customerchr(39)s technical specialists; Participation in promoting events at the customerchr(39)s facilities; Preparing technical documentation for participation in DRA tender procedures, including but not limited to: term analysis; effective dose estimation etc. Requirements: At least a master of engineering, engineering in O&G or chemistry; At least 3 + years of experience in the field of pipeline transportation of hydrocarbons or similar industries; Fluency in English; Knowing and understanding: Hydraulics principles; Basics of organic chemistry; Oil and gas chemistry; Engineering (including the use of main machines, and structures of main types of pumps, compressors, pumping technologies, and dosing equipment); The DRA principles understanding will be a significant advantage.
