We are looking for a Financial Specialist who will play a critical role in the Finance Department, joining a fast-paced and collaborative team. Reporting to the CEO and the Financial Director, the individual will perform a variety of financial and accounting tasks. Primary responsibilities will include Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (AR/AP) functions, account reconciliations, invoicing, expense reporting, and payroll. Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor all invoices and transactions on a daily basis Support Sales Team in daily transactions with Clients, create invoices for all bookings, etc Monitor daily bank transactions to ensure everything matches up (all supporting documents are correct, payments are within the budgeted limits, and are duly executed) Communication with banks and Company departments on various questions arising during the payment process Manage payroll and control monthly statements for commission earned by Sales Expense recording and allocation Reconciling credit card merchant transactions Investigate/resolve queries from Sales Team Take care of the budget & reports accordingly to the Companychr(39)s templates Any other internal projects that may be required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Masterchr(39)s degree is an advantage Minimum 5 years of general financial accounting experience is required Knowledge of the accounting systems/software Proficient in utilizing business tools such as E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and cloud-based CRMs. Travel/Banking Industry experience is an asset Experience with working in multiple currencies Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy are required. Excellent verbal and written communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Comfortable in a dynamic, growing, entrepreneurial environment Able to adapt to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to fluently speak English Salary – Negotiable according to experience
