Database Expert

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) able to be his or her own boss, to ensure uninterrupted operations and high cluster performance. The role: In addition to administering and maintaining database performance 24/7, you will be involved in the development of advanced infrastructure solutions to accelerate the development of the companychr(39)s products and services. Who is the person: an expert who is keen on researching, analyzing, optimizing current infrastructure performance, and sharing knowledge with our devops team. Tasks: Maintaining existing Clickhouse and PostgreSQL clusters; Building scalable fault-tolerant database clusters; Сonfigurating Clickhouse and PostgreSQL instance; Making replication setup, sharding, keeper configuration, backup support and maintenance; Monitoring configuration; Designing data warehouse architecture; ClickHouse performance optimization, troubleshooting. Requirements: Current knowledge and experience with Clickhouse and PostgreSQL: principles of engines, indexes, replication, sharding; 3 or more years of experience in administering IT systems; Linux experience (administrator level) not less than 1 year; Thorough understanding of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance; Proficiency in Bash, SQL, Ansible; Desire to work with ClickHouse and share expertise with the team; Basic Python scripting skills.
