English Editor (Proofreader)

Each of us is special in his sphere and the principle of work is simple: trouble comes to us and we find decisions.We are looking for a English Editor - a colleague who will help us achieve our goals and take our marketing to a whole new level. RESPONSIBILITIES: Checking marketing, social media, PR and site texts; Checking text for grammar, punctuation, spelling and style errors; De-Russifying text by bringing it to a native-English level; Tweaking text to suit the needs of different marketing campaigns and target audiences; Suggesting improvements to sentence structure and word choice; Making text more attractive for the target audience; Collaborating with colleagues on texts; Fact-checking. REQUIREMENTS: A higher education in English and/or linguistics; Excellent command of the English language: C1-C2 level; At least B1 level in Russian language; Excellent editing and proofreading skills; Excellent attention to detail; An understanding of the needs of marketing text and its audiences; An understanding of how to work in different formats and tones of voice; An understanding of how an audience perceives and reacts to text; Motivated and determined to grow. Nice to have: Experience with trading-related topics such as Forex, crypto and the stock market; Close familiarity with the fintech sector; A team-oriented attitude; Creative writing skills; Experience in marketing.
