компания "jti" asset accounting group is seeking a motivated accountant to perform fixed assets, intangible assets, construction in progress accounting for legal entities served by gbs st.petersburg in accordance with the corporate policies, local legislation requirements and ifrs principles. responsibilities include but not limited to: initiation of fixed assets (fa) entries and changes in assets master data, performing fa reporting and account analysis, preparation of primary documents, supporting entity in fa stock count process and performing other fa activities on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.aa group offers a wide range of options to apply and improve your accounting and analytical skills, technical skills in reporting preparation, to extend your knowledge of sap and business processes through working in two sap modules: aa (asset accounting) and fi (financial accounting). accounting & reporting specialist – gbs, st.petersburg what you will do analyze construction in progress, fixed assets (fa) and intangible assets (ia) accounts to ensure local legislation and ifrs compliance. initiate and submit requests for reflection of asset movements and changes in assets master data in sap. create real asset cards in sap. prepare primary documents for fa capitalization, disposal, relocation, demerger and shutdown. prepare on monthly basis reports on assets movement in accordance with fa schedule. prepare on quarterly/ annual basis reports and calculations for tax/stat purposes and statistic reports as per schedule. support market finance in fa stock count: prepare documents, reconcile fa count results and agree them with market finance, initiate requests for posting results in sap. assist related departments (a&r, tax dpt., market finance, gl) on tax authorities and external audit requests, accounting issues and other ad hoc queries as required. deliver service at high quality level, timely and accurately. assist aa team lead when requested. analyze exiting aa processes to identify potential process improvements. take part in global project in accounting & finance group and be in charge of knowledge and activities transition related to fp&a, accounting and reporting scope from markets (turkey, romania, the adriatic, the baltics, jordan, lebanon) to gbs st. petersburg. we expect from you university degree in accounting/finance; work experience at least 2 years in finance/accounting (in asset accounting area will be a plus); good analytical skills, ability to work with large data volume, under tight time schedules; proficient in microsoft office, sap knowledge will be a plus; fluency in english; accuracy, attentiveness to details; team work skills; strong communication skills; initiative to implement process improvements and curiosity to enhance knowledge and skills; whatchr(39)s in it for you dynamic working environment; team of highly motivated professionals; wide development opportunities; summer schedule, flexible working hours; work from home; competitive compensation package; modern eco-friendly office in the city center (petrogradskaya metro station).
