компания "спортмастер" sportmaster is looking for an r&d manager in an international and creative team of innovation, standards & testing in apparel production department. functions: opportunity assessment & project selection research new & current material suppliers, technology companies, trade fairs, & competitive brands to identify high potential concepts (both functional & aesthetic) for development. support & coordinate with sho & sm analytic lab the accurate assessment of new technology & material concept projects per sm apd criteria, and in alignment with apd objectives summarize, analyze & recommend new technology development projects based their claimed functionality, consumer benefit, aesthetic or competitive relevance, price/value, time to market, & uniqueness. help determine the optimal use or application of new technologies & material concepts in apd products to meet apd adoption criteria. participate in the final selection & performance specification of seasonal product technology development concepts. technology implementation & optimization research, analyze & track fabric & material trends; and seasonally compile toolkits & summary boards for use by brands in the product creation process. collect & coordinate brand management, design & material dept. requirements & objectives relative to seasonal r&d developments (both technologies & material concepts) help lead the introduction & application of new material technologies & aesthetic concepts in the hq product creation and material development process. support the roll-out of technology development projects to r&d partners & suppliers (project implementation). manage, coordinate & track hq efforts to revise/optimize technology development projects (in terms of cost & performance) in order to achieve sm apd objectives. analyze, negotiate & track preliminary technology application costs for bm & md use. track & manage hq r&d project samples & prototype shipments from russia, from initial research through pre-production sampling phase. technical support provide expert technical support for fabric and quality teams related to fabric development and bulk production, including issue resolution support for fabric testing and bulk inspection problems. requirements: work experience: minimum 2 years practical experience in technical fabric development, fabric merchandising, fabric qa testing, or related field. education college/university degree with a certificate in material/fabric technology or textile chemistry (or related field), with good understanding/experience in technical aspects of fabric production, and/or the properties of fibers, yarn and dyes. additional education in management, marketing, or design is appreciated. foreign language fluent oral and written english language skills. understanding the terminology in the apparel quality control sphere. professional knowledge good analytical skills; solid commercial sense; good negotiation skills; experience/ practical understanding of the principles of r&d process; experience/ practical understanding of fabric production technologies; expertise delivering presentations to a big group of people; experience in fabric development and/or apparel production lifecycle knowledge of material production, processes, standards, structures and properties of the fabrics, the characteristics of physical and chemical testing ability to work with colleagues in other parts of the world as a virtual team programs and office equipment knowledge proficient pc and ms office user, experienced in power point and excel we offer: work in the leading international multi-brand company. great practice of sequential/synchronous translation interesting tasks, opportunity to learn lots of things. competitive salary and social benefits. young, friendly and international team. full compliance with the russian labour code.
