компания "openway group" openway group is a multinational company and vendor of the way4 system: an open flexible platform for digital banking and managing all types of payment services and instruments. way4 is used by more than 130 banks, payment hubs, processing, telecommunications and fuel companies in europe, north and latin america, asia, africa, and the middle east. in russia, way4 is used for issuing over 50% of payment cards and acquiring over 20% of payment terminals. our company has selected clickhouse as a basis for building analytic processing platform to develop different solutions for our clients. wechr(39)re currently looking for a clickhouse engineer with experience in development, troubleshooting and performance tuning clickhouse in development, testing and/or production environments. even though we already have some expertise in clickhouse and use clickhouse in prototyped solutions, and in solutions being piloted in client environments, you will have the unique opportunity to design and develop totally new analytic processing platform. tasks designing and developing new analytic processing platform based on clickhouse solutions; supporting and advising users on clickhouse issues; тroubleshooting based on analysis of trace files. disaster recovery; building test benches and reproducing clickhouse crashes and performance issues. describing issues; optimizing clickhouse performance. systematic approach to finding bottlenecks; creating bug reports and communicating with clickhouse developers in github and community forum; automating and optimizing deployment of new clickhouse environments. we use ansible for automation of our products; exploring new features of clickhouse; scaling, building high-performance fault-tolerant solutions based on clickhouse clusters and disaster recovery; teamwork, cross-functional collaboration. requirements practical experience with clickhouse or vertica; experience programming in high-level languages (java/kotlin, c++); thorough knowledge and understanding of clickhouse architecture; experience using the main technologies and tools of the clickhouse stack: modeling, queries, parallel and distributed processing etc.; understanding theoretical foundations and general erudition in the field of it, knowledge of the software lifecycle, basics of design, development, and software quality assurance; english language skills (at least intermediate). desirable experience working with relational databases (oracle, postgresql); experience automating tasks, writing bash scripts; knowledge and experience in application deployment: containers, container orchestration, devops tools (ansible, puppet, jenkins, teamcity, elk, etc.); experience administering unix/linux systems. we offer complicated projects: we produce mission-critical systems for our customers all over the world; competitive salary and annual bonus; meal allowance, medical insurance, english courses; relocation package; remote work is possible.
