компания "helastel" senior qa engineer for okko team about okko at okko health we are building technology to protect sight and avoid blindness. we are developing home-monitoring apps for measuring vision - we embed deep vision science behind simple games on smartphones and tablets. this has potential applications across clinical practice, scientific research and in r&d of new drugs and devices. our r&d team is based out of bristol. we’re patient driven, deeply focussed on innovation and our technology is already being used in the nhs, germany, india and japan. we’re not just building apps to measure vision the way it’s been done for decades on the eye chart. we’re using well-established science and leveraging recent research to develop new vision tests and to capture how we really see the world in its many dimensions. we believe that this will allow us to create much more data than traditional measures. our home-monitoring technology is being specially designed to harness this diversity of data and allows us to develop predictive algorithms to identify sight problems at the earliest possible opportunity. job purpose reporting to the product manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing all of okko’s qa objectives, essential for delivery of all of okko services. you will be working with colleagues across the organisation, optimising all aspects of our test procedures. initially a one person department that will grow into a team over time. develop, document and continuously improve testing strategy key responsibilities design, execute and implement a test strategy collaborate with development teams to ddesign, execute and analyse test scripts and test results for web applications, ios and android app ensure tests align with our regulatory requirements as a medical device interact with product management, scrum master and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and qa objectives. design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases. use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function estimate time and resources required to perform testing within defined timescales work with software engineers to help them understand quality standards and contribute to the testing effort through automated testing behaviours and qualities good in business and technical english strong analytical skills high attention to detail ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts sets high standards and goals is reliable and able to deliver (completer-finisher) is able to prioritise tasks independently based on sometimes incomplete information strong organisational skills: able to demonstrate capability in managing a complex agenda requiring multiple task management and evidence of success in delivering clear outcomes in a timely and effective manner. experience/qualifications essential excellent knowledge of qa practices in manual testing and experience of producing apps with complex functionality. experience in mobile app testing understanding of good, practical architecture excellent and demonstrable experience of git source control demonstrable experience of preparing technical documentation excellent organisational skills design awareness understanding of best practice for customers and businesses desirable knowledge of selenium understanding of healthcare and healthtech contexts people management experience
