компания "deloitte, caspian region" deloitte is looking for an intern/business analyst 1 to join the actuary group within risk advisory department at the almaty office. deloittechr(39)s actuarial solutions practice serves a wide variety of undertakings large international and local clients. our skill sets are amplified by our immediate access to the extensive knowledge and experience of over 700 global deloitte actuarial practitioners in financial services. we foster an open and friendly working environment that supports career development. opportunity: opportunity of exposure to the variety of projects: audits, consulting, risk advisory, due diligence valuations, actuarial modelling; the role will involve: calculating and advising on life and non-life insurance policies and reserves, pensions and employee benefits; applying mathematical and statistical techniques to business problems; actuarial modeling and financial risk modeling; reporting under ifrs principles; preparing reports and presenting materials; conducting research and solving problems; actively participating in business development and facilitating workshops; participating in a variety of projects, including audits, consulting, risk advisory,due diligence valuations, and actuarial modeling. requirements: graduate in actuarial science / statistics / mathematics; good understanding of calculus, finance, probability, and actuarial mathematics; good knowledge of excel (pivot tables, formatting views, aggregating data intoa single view, structuring data for simple analysis, etc.); good knowledge of powerpoint (constructing clear and visually effectivepresentation slides that capture data collected in meaningful and insightful views); understanding of the actuarial profession, strong desire to become an actuary and build a career within an international audit firm; excellent written and oral communication skills in russian and english (upper-intermediate); relevant actuarial experience in insurance industry is an advantage. we offer: transparent career and professional development system; comprehensive health, life, travel insurance programmes; comprehensive corporate discount programme; child care benefits and adoption leave policy; well-being, mobility programmes.
