Facilities Specialist

компания "brookes moscow international baccalaureate (ib) world continuum school" overview the main objective is to oversee all building-related activities and its maintenance. the facilities specialist will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. requirements university degree; proven work experience +3 years in related area; well-versed in technical/ engineering operations and facilities management best practices; general understanding of dealing with subcontractors and securing the deal based on ratio – costs and quality; english – intermediate; advanced problem-solving & decision-making skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent negotiation skills; good organizational skills; proficiency in computer literacy (microsoft excel is a must). responsibilities planning and coordinating all systems maintenance (heating, water, electricity, telecommunications and other engineering) and refurbishments; oversight of the external contractors; managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet school health and safety standards and compliance with sanitary measures inspection of buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or refit based on educational needs; control of the activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building cleaning and maintenance etc.; allocation of school space according to the school event needs; handling maintenance services contracts; implementation of cost-saving and cost-reducing procedures and budget optimization actions; provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolutions. conditions employment in according with russian legislation; competitive salary and compensation package; annual performance related bonus; health insurance; free lunches; brand-new fully furnished office and usage of school facilities by approved schedule; office in green area of moscow – metro station botanical garden; working schedule 5/2, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.or shifts 11 a.m - 8 p.m, short hours during school holiday.
