компания "dataart" client the client is a uk-based company specializing in selling personalized greeting cards, flowers, & gifts. the company presents itself as a leader in the technology sector and uses various technologies to meet the needs of its customers. we invite you to our company, not a project project overview with the increase in demand for remote meetings and celebrations, further analysis and extension of the productchr(39)s capabilities are the projectchr(39)s primary goals. we create a restriction-free environment we let you concentrate on your job team the project team consists of 30+ specialists (devops, node.js developers, and full stack developers). by the way, do you speak english? position overview you will be responsible for maintaining the client’s server & storage infrastructure, across all of the client locations in the uk, guernsey, australia, and the usa, whilst ensuring adherence to the group’s it and security policies and any transformational changes are aligned with the it strategy. you will ensure the server/storage strategy and standards across the client offices and production facilities are: aligned, delivered, and supported to a high standard; proactively support issue resolution; and build a good reputation within the client technology function (especially with the tech and security teams). technology stack vpn hub: aws; access points: cisco meraki; firewalls: fortigate (we have a few sites that have cisco asa, however, expected that these will be replaced by fortigate within the next 3 months); switches: a mixture of cisco catalyst and cisco meraki; monitoring: solarwinds. responsibilities provide support and maintain the client’s server infrastructure to the agreed availability and performance targets operate and maintain resilient infrastructure solutions that allow all other teams and colleagues across the client to consume network/information services perform incident and root cause analysis for all events that degrade the performance, availability, and security of the underlying it infrastructure ensure that all infrastructure components are managed to the appropriate level of risk with respect to security patches, software/firmware revision levels, and supplier-supported versions maintaining the client corporate sso solution, including expanding the number of applications that sit behind this solution working in partnership with the client’s cyber-security team to ensure that the server estate is secure requirements experience managing server-side technologies such as windows & linux server, active directory, vmware esxi, netapp storage, and veeam scripting experience in powershell experience using terraform to create and maintain aws infrastructure, which is largely architected around ec2 and s3 technologies a solid understanding of the importance of having the appropriate level of monitoring and alerting set-up and ideally experience using grafana and/or prometheus an understanding of networking protocols such as tcp/ip knowledge of key concepts such as dns, dhcp, firewalls, routing, and switching an analytical and structured approach to following change/incident management processes and troubleshooting effective communication skills, with the ability to present both written and verbal concepts clearly and effectively to colleagues of all levels experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment but also able to work alone as required act as a technical mentor to a junior member of the infrastructure team spoken english
