and regulatory compliance. job description & summary a career with our tashkent team means adding value to our clients through advice and support across all stages of the deal lifecycle from conception to deal closure. you can expect to work on projects across a number of sectors such as power and utilities, renewables, social infrastructure and transportation. the work could include advising clients with strategy and concept development, feasibility studies, business plans, due diligence of potential investments/partnerships/acquisitions, bid development advisory, procurement strategies, commercial structuring and financing arrangement. you will: manage business development initiatives, including identification of new opportunities, producing content for proposals and undertaking research into clients, projects, products and industries. build and develop your own client portfolio lead complex corporate finance and infrastructure engagements manage teams, projects and clients on a day-to-day basis guide the team (managers/senior associates) and review work outputs present engagement findings internally and externally to senior c-suite members of the client’s management build a network around your peer group internally within pwc and externally coach and train junior team members drive certain initiatives alongside the partner in delivering initiatives such as digitalization, value creation, etc more specifically your role will involve: delivering internal sales and revenue targets assigned to infrastructure advisory services, building and maintaining relationships with clients and target clients and key market constituents to support personal effectiveness and business development opportunities, support to the partners and other directors in franchise development and marketing efforts in social media, thought leadership and sponsored conferences, including promotion valuations as well as other pwc services, leading and reviewing corporate finance, infrastructure and ppps engagements: content creation across various types of advisory deliverables for infrastructure development projects such as information memorandums, financial models, project risk matrixes, term sheets, feasibility and concept reports, options analysis, payment structures and senior management presentations. working with governments on infrastructure development strategy and policy, including different kind of public-private-partnership approaches. implementation of public-private-partnership projects and/ or privatization projects, including implementation strategy and roadmap, tender execution, negotiations with a preferred bidder, etc. debt advisory services for infrastructure development and ppp projects: debt and equity financing structuring, negotiations with potential lenders, preparation of load agreements, model audit services on behalf of lenders, etc. administration of internal workflow and risk management procedures, including project staffing and planning, drafting of project budgets and legal documents (non-disclosure agreements, engagement contracts, etc.), hiring and coaching junior members of the team on day-to-day execution activities and more broadly in career progression within the firm. requirements: we are looking for an experienced senior manager level who has an excellent track record and meets the following criteria: work experience: 7-9 years of previous advisory work experience with sound and in-depth technical and commercial knowledge of infrastructure development projects and ppp concepts at least 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role with direct involvement in selling, delivering and managing infrastructure and ppps implementation engagements history of significant client exposure (an impressive record of success in the field of selling infrastructure and ppp advisory services)) other necessary attributes an entrepreneurial and commercial minded approach towards execution. enthusiasm for participating in marketing and business development. hands on financial modelling experience with proficiency in ms excel. hands on experience with preparation of presentations, and reports in ms point. excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with others. ability to quickly grasp key business drivers and specific valuation issues. degrees/field of study required: higher education in economics / engineering / mathematics / valuation with superior academic performance from leading universities in uzbekistan or abroad certifications aca, cfa or acca will be an advantage desired languages strong verbal and written communication skills in english and russian
