more sustainable organisations. our esg team has been ensuring both stakeholder and shareholder value creation is at the core of those sustainability strategies. as our clients gain confidence in those strategies and the environmental, social and financial benefits they provide, they are demanding more support from pwc to shape and deliver the operational programmes that execute on those sustainable strategies. the esg practice helps our clients improve their core operations, improve productivity, uplift performance, embed a culture of high performing teams, take carbon out, re-engineer how they work, and bring practical solutions to transform delivery of products and services inline with a sustainable business strategy. the successful candidate will have experience of delivering operational engagements, projects and programmes aligned to or on behalf of an organisationchr(39)s net zero strategy and targets. key role: shape, own and successfully deliver net zero focused client engagements. lead and coach both pwc and client teams in the deployment of net zero focus programmes. contribute to the overall development and growth of our practice through: developing the technical acumen of yourself and others in the esg agenda and particularly ghg protocols and aspects relevant to operations and supply chain. on-going development of the frameworks and methodologies that we use as a firm to support clients in these programmes. operations capabilities (such as process redesign, sustainable supply chain, automation, operating model design) creating thought leadership supporting client pursuits and development of sales collateral active involvement in business development activities to help identify, propose and close net zero transformation opportunities. apply well-developed consulting skills and an in-depth functional knowledge in the execution of strategy assignments. plan, organize, and lead tasks and projects to ensure the quality of client deliverables. demonstrate knowledge of industry and market trends in providing recommendations to clients based on best practices. interpret the results from multiple project components and translate these findings into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions. work closely with client team members to generate practical solutions and ensure clients assume the ownership required chain management continuous improvement lean tools and techniques – including daily huddles (stand ups), visual management, demand forecasting and planning, workload and capacity management, problem solving, change management coaching for performance agile delivery data analysis and visualisation project management – driving momentum and results experience having direct experience of supporting business programmes to achieve esg aims, particularly related to emissions is a big advantage operational management experience in the industries such as metals&mining, processing, machinery having experience in supply chain transformation experience to reduce scope 3 emissions is a big advantage coaching and developing people, supporting them to attain higher levels of performance driving and embedding a problem solving mindset and culture implementing a new methodology and / or technology across and organisation driving sustainable change and delivering quantifiable and tangible benefits for clients developing innovative solutions to complex client problems change and transformation programmes / leadership optimisation of process operations identifying and diagnosing client issues through rigorous analysis, including data analytics qualifications: min. 4-5 years of functional strategy, finance or operational experience of which min. 2-3 years of experience with a strategy, operational improvement and/or transformation bachelor’s degree with a good gpa (engineering / business administration / economics / finance / environmental studies / economic, sustainable development studies) mba/master from a reputable university is a plus ability to articulate how a problem is approached and decomposed excellent relationship-building skills, with superior ability to interface well with individuals of varying levels and backgrounds in order to develop strong partnerships both internally and externally strong leadership and facilitation skills strong analytical skills and adaptation skills excellent communication, demonstration and presentation skills full computer literacy strong command of written and spoken english, and russian, knowledge of other languages is a
