Marketing and PR Specialist

компания "международный технопарк it-стартапов «astana hub»" it export development office by astana hub and strategeast center for new economy is looking for a marketing and pr specialist who will be responsible for communicating key messages of the it export development project. this position will require a focus on promoting positive public awareness of the it educational program and it industry opportunities through external communications. an ideal candidate is a highly motivated & self-driven professional with a background in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field. we are looking for someone knowledgeable about the it industry marketing and promotion. responsibilities: - сreate presentation of a project to increase the it potential of the republic of kazakhstan (strategic task); - drawing up a plan and programs of online and offline events in kazakhstan and abroad according to the project budget and strategy; - prepare announcements and other promotional materials for events; - manage, arrange and oversee events (online/offline); - manage events vendors (selection, description of services required, contract award and conclusion, service delivery, payment settlements, etc.); - create advertisement for it educational program; - represent project at events; - manage media relations and requests; - prepare progress reports; - any other duties the management assigns to enable and develop it export-related tasks. skills: - methodical and strategic thinking - excellent communication skills and networking aptitude (marketing communications) - strong interpersonal skills - good time management skills - effective presentation skills - previous events planning and management experience - knowledge of marketing related companies - strong writing skills - familiarity with the latest pr trends and best practices - english and russian level b2 and above location: almaty employment type: full-time
