компания "fly high kids academy" flyhigh montessori academy is looking for an english teacher to our montessori elementary class for children from 6 to 12 years old. working hours*: 8:00-16:00 mon-fri. *some days there will be longer hours according to the elementary class calendar and field-trips. we expect elementary english teacher to work as a member of elementary teaching team and assist montessori teachers throughout the day. there are 23-24 children (6-10 years old) in elementary class and two russian-speaking montessori teachers. elementary english teacher communicates with children in english all the time. * * * our eight-years-old montessori school has grown organically offering a young children’s community (14 months-3 years), a children’s house (3-6 years old) and an early elementary (6-12 years old).as a team, we are deeply committed to fully implementing montessori education according to highest ami-standarts (assosiation montessori internationale https://montessori-ami.org/) a teacher with a high level of integrity who is dedicated to fully implementing montessori pedagogy in his/her english language teaching practice. a collaborative team player attitude, ownership, openness will be a great cultural fit for our transformational team. job description: plan the lessons and your class time for every child individually gradually develop all english language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking together with grammar. all in balance teach the cambridge movers and flyers vocabulary suprvise children in the classroom, maintain discipline during the daily montessori working cycles (9:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00), assist montessori teachers supervise children during lunch break and outdoor time (12:00-14:00), arrange outdoor activities organize the communication with english speaking world: invite guest-speakers, pen-pal projects and etc. plan and go outside of the school (museums, parks and field trips. in june we plan camping in tula region) making crafts creating small events and short theatre plays dedicated to the national holidays or the world holidays making daily observations, taking notes and pictures in teachers observation platform (transparentclassroom.com) work with parents to establish partners relationship and develop common strategy of how to help the kids to grow up. prepare parents conferences and deliver progress reports twice per academic year learn about the montessori method and constantly improve your skills of teaching qualifications: bachelor degree or equivalent proficient written and oral english english teaching experience montessori teaching experience preferred benefits: payments twice per month lunch provided holiday leave included with a 12-month salary payment plan professional training and career development opportunities
