your mission we are looking for a treasury specialist to join the finance team in russia. this person will be responsible for short term and mid term cash forecasting and reporting, administration of financing of all legal entities, maintenance and administration of relationships with banks, payment preparation in two main legal entities, while supervising this process in regional companies and enhancement and automation of cash related processes jointly with russian accounting team and hq cash team. as the main representative in russia of the hq cash team, in close link with hq fp&a you are responsible for building and maintaining a reliable yearly cash forecast and 3 month rolling forecast, while participating in joint efforts initiated by hq cash team to enhance and automate these processes. by analyzing the past and forecasting future cash flows, you plan and execute financing flows for all our legal entities, providing sufficient financing for our operations. you are the go-to person for any bank related question, having sufficient knowledge in maintaining operational relationships with our key stakeholders in blablacar russia main banks. you open and close bank accounts, administer signature changes as well as currency control topics. you regularly monitor any regulatory change and propose in close cooperation with our accounting department, you administer the payment calendar and payment discipline in russia, while being responsible for preparing payment orders in two legal entities. you aim to finalize convergence and documentation of payment processes for all russian entities, contributing to defining blablacar group payment policy. once done, you focus on automating main not yet automated manual tasks, jointly with our accounting and 1c / workday contractors. to get a grasp of your first 6 months: being supported by our team and existing written procedures, you are operational from day 1 on main routine tasks you get to understand our cash cycle in russia, review different practices in all legal entities in russia and understand key responsibilities of all finance team in ru and hq jointly with your manager and our regional cfo, you prepare your first actual vs forecast reporting and you make a new 3 month rolling forecast you discover existing hq cash processes and tools you actively participate in hq cash roadmap you assist local accounting team in the finalization of a payment preparation automation project in one legal entity you meet your main contacts in our banks and administer opening of accounts in a new bank, while shifting some operations your responsibilities ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance in treasury (cash) processes of blablacar entities in russia analyze inefficiencies treasury processes, propose and implement solutions implement cash roadmap in russia accurately plan blablacar cash-flows in russia and dully analyze any discrepancies be financial safeguard your qualifications you have previous experience in treasury department (2-3 years) you have good knowledge of excel and google sheets. you understand how to build complex formulas to semi-automate data gathering from different sources. you know how to execute a payment in 1c eyes closed as you know by heart any menus of the bank section you have good knowledge of currency control and regulations, you are up-to-date on last quarter changes you are hands-on and do not fear doing routine tasks but you are also familiar with automation projects and you know how to identify an automation opportunity, propose a solution, present a specification and test the solution, you are eager to reduce this burden you are autonomous and responsible you enjoy sharing & learning from others and you are a team-player you embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks you have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset your good level in english allows you to participate in and communicate with hq cash team if you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you’d still be a great fit for this role in your application!
