API Test Engineer

компания "access softek (ип гурфинг михаил григорьевич)" about project and position overview access softek is looking for an api test engineer passionate about building services that make peoplechr(39)s financial life easier. you will work in a small team of core integration developers responsible for the back-end service running almost all the companychr(39)s products. the team is actively getting help from qa/aqa, product owners, and architects and is utilizing best agile practices. we use ci/cd on a daily basis, practice code reviews, write unit tests and follow the zero-bug policy. we are proud to mention that we dedicate 25% of our development time to dealing with technical debts and always think about work-life balance and self-development when planning our next iteration. we are planning to create version 3 of our back-end, hoping to deliver some good new features to our clients, so now is the best time to join us and contribute with your bright ideas. primary responsibilities initial/regression testing of api reviewing acceptance criteria, functional and technical requirements and making suggestions of improvements deploy components in environments collaboration with developers, pmchr(39)s, technical support high-level estimation (in story points), based on ac writing/reviewing test cases reporting bugs in jira test environment and users customization providing suggestions for improving qa processes and the quality of software to be a proactive team member and provide input on all stages of software development requirements strong analytical and problem-solving skills 3+ years experience in software testing hands on backend api testing (including using logs) writing and maintaining qa test-case suites ability to work with testing tools like postman, soapui, fiddler. be familiar with tcp/http, soap/rest (as a plus ofx/c3) knowledge data formats like xml/json/csv specify requirements, assessments and qa documentation evaluating the product against requirements and test-cases english level (speaking, writing, reading) - intermediate level ability to work independently and in a team highly organized with an ability to handle multiple and complicated tasks strong desire to learn new things and to develop new skills as plus knowledge fintech/banking sphere octopus/jira/confluence/ work experience in big companies with good testing processes. experience working with a distributed team experience with scrum our benefits work from anywhere in the world! compensation vacation (15 days off in a year) global corporate events for all employees internet compensation (50$ per month) paid sick leave days off on public holidays home office equipment (computer, additional monitor, etc.), if necessary and other benefits, described in detail in the staff handbook
