компания "suez international sas" the specialist will be the local correspondent of foreign experts in charge of the elaboration of the water supply master plan and of specific studies about the improvement of performance of the drinking water treatment plants (dwtp) and well fields of the city of tashkent. he will participate and monitor the actions of improvement decided by the client tsst, further to these studies. he will also monitor the impact of such actions on the improvement of water quality and calculate the value indicators decided jointly by suez and tsst at this respect.-provide all data necessary to perform the contractual studies that suez will deliver to tsst, in coordination with tsst.-participate in the writing of the studies, in the elaboration and discussion of the action plans together with tsst.-proceed, with the procurement team and according to procurement rules decided jointly by tsst and suez, to the acquisition of devices for drinking water analysis within the laboratories or on-line.-proceed in coordination with tsst with the replacement and installation of flowmeters in the dwtp and wells.-install the on-line sensors with specialized technicians and connects them to the scada system through adapted devices: dataloggers and scada.-implement and/or monitor the actions decided regarding the improvement of water resources, drinking water treatment plants and wells after the baseline period.-participate in the elaboration and discussion of indicators to measure the improvement of the water quality.-proposes solutions to optimize the energy consumption, the technical water used in the plants and the use of reagents.-calculate the values of indicators and report them to tsst.-reports about his activity internally and to the customer.-ensures protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties;-timely and properly fulfills the duties and functions defined in this job description;-the job description is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent. qualifications:-degree in hydraulic and/or chemistry;-electric and automation knowledge-broad knowledge in practices and procedures of maintaining and operating drinking water plants and wells associated with water distribution infrastructure.-advanced skills in predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of water pumps, generators, motors, high voltage equipment, reservoirs, and other distribution appurtenances, including all related water control and measurement systems.-proficiency in uzbek, russian and english language.-proficiency in ms office skills.special skills/abilities needed:-understand and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering data and complex schematic diagrams necessary to implement predictive, preventive, corrective and improvement activities.-ability to interpret complex instructions, manuals, operating and maintenance procedures and specifications related to water utility systems and equipment.-knowledge of occupational hazards and health and safety regulations.-ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.-ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.-time management and strong ability to meet deadlines-strong organizational and planning skills.-hardworking, enthusiastic, dynamic, and quick learner.-consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.experience specifications:minimum of 8 (eight) years in water treatment, wells experience or equivalent permanent entity of the french company suez international sas in tashkent.the company has signed a 7-year contract with tashkent city municipality and the ministry of housing and communal services on march 7, 2020.project: tashkent water transformation planthe total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading european banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and sewerage networks and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.main activity:- upgrade tashkent water public service to an international standard- bring the experience of suez, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of tashkent- improve financial sustainability of the water service.candidates who meet the requirements can send cv and motivation letter via hh.uz web site.
