компания "citibank" citibank is a part of the largest international financial corporation with more than 200 years of history and it is looking for applications support engineer. the applications support engineer is a developing professional role. applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. interprets data and makes recommendations. researches and interprets factual information. identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. has good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. limited but direct impacts on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. you will have the following responsibilities: level-1 support of consumer set of applications across all lines of business (cards and collections, core banking, digital, customer management and wealth management); maintaining stable production environments used by consumer applications; partnering closely with business and operations units and providing them with timely status updates on incident resolution processes; providing regular reports and delivering data for reporting and metrics purposes; resolving user raised incidents in accordance to agreed slas; participating in major outage resolution, escalating and engaging right stakeholders to ensure rapid recovery; reduction of faults and failures through proactive service reviews and through root cause analysis and corrective action plans; developing partnerships within local, regional and global citi technology groups and application vendors that provide services to consumer business in russia; maintaining relationships with business, managing expectations and escalations; prioritizing technical resolutions based on impact and urgency of issues reported; сontinuous improvement and automation of monitoring and application administration functions in order to increase efficiency and quality of provided services; standardizing processes and tools used for managing production regional applications; сlose cooperation with level-2 and level-3 application support teams, cti external vendors that are critical for service delivery; escalation and enforce sla’s are met including external vendors that provide application support for regional systems; promoting service model within the entity; ensuring compliance as an integral component of all team activities. we expect the following qualifications: at least 1 year of experience supporting banking systems; understanding of itil foundations (change management, resource management, problem management and incident management processes), banking products and processes; track record for banking production systems support; hands-on experience with ms sql (basic and higher), stored procedures (sp), sp optimization, xml, powershell; experience in maintaining relationship with internal clients and external vendors; language requirements: fluent in english (both oral and written), russian native; problem management and investigation skills, analytical skills; high school degree (technical); demonstration of ability to work under pressure, self-reliant, liable, methodical, well-organized and able to keep a number of activities in progress in parallel, balancing priorities as necessary; demonstration of positive ‘can-do’ attitude; good communication skills and organizational astuteness; demonstration of ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes, to identify, challenge and improve processes that are inefficient; demonstration of ability to develop working relationships, to take the initiative. what we offer: standard working schedule (five-day working week, working day from 9.00 to 18.00); advanced social package: voluntary medical insurance (with dentistry and ability to insure relatives), life and accidental insurance, additional annual leave days, additional sick leave compensation, etc; competitive salary (depends on interview results); special offers from citiclub (sport, travelling, english language courses); corporate trainings sessions for personal growth; open and transparent communication at all levels and equal opportunities for all. citibank is a proud employer to some of the best industry professionals giving you the opportunity to learn from the best and bring your ideas to the table. apply for a job to become a part of the team where every voice is heard and every point of view is appreciated.
