Accountant (Minsk)

компания "lyft blr" lyft is looking for a bright, pragmatic, and self-motivated middle accountant with around 4 years of experience within a field. as an accountant, you will report to the chief accountant and collaborate with key departments across the organization, including the corporate fp&a, product, and legal. our ideal candidate must have at least intermediate (b1) level of english and reside in minsk. responsibilities: processing of accounting documents for the following modules: payroll calculations (monthly salary, incl. shift work schedules, vacations, sick leaves), distribution of benefits (meals, insurance, etc) to employees; accounting of materials (registration, write-off, movements) preparation of statistical and other types of reports to state authorities assistance in calculating taxes prepare journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with close calendar timelines assist in support of external audits, including preparation of audit requests and ongoing support help in the documentation and/or implementation of internal controls coordinate with cross-functional partners to facilitate streamlined processes direct involvement in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting, analysis requests, etc. experience: 4+ years of relevant experience with local accounting bachelorchr(39)s/master’s degree in accounting, economics, or related field at least upper-intermediate level of english (speaking, reading, writing) detail-oriented, able to solve problems, and multitask strong quantitative analytical skills – must have good experience in 1c 8.3 (hs) and 1c zup (hs), microsoft excel (e.g. vlookup, pivot tables, etc), and google applications understanding of us gaap and experience working in an it or international company is an advantage excellent organizational and communication skills are a must ability to operate independently and as part of a larger functional team
