компания "пролев технолоджис" we work together with the teams of the us company prosper, as one of the teams of this company. prosper is built on a simple idea: connect people who want to borrow money with those that have money to invest. through prosper, borrowers get access to fixed and low-rate loans, and investors in those loans can earn solid returns. we work to help build financial well-being for our users, enabling them to invest in each other in a way that is both financially and socially impactful. since our launch in 2005 as the first peer-to-peer lending marketplace in the us, more than 1 million loans have been provided through the prosper platform. we’ve helped people gain access to more than $14 billion in loans for everything from consolidating credit card debt, making home improvements, and even paying for costly medical expenses. backed by leading investors like sequoia capital, francisco partners, institutional venture partners, and credit suisse next fund, our platform is developed and supported with pride in our downtown san francisco and sunny phoenix offices. what we need as a systems engineer you will provide services in support of prosper’s day-to-day operation and critical projects. you will support a variety of operating systems and maintain environments in public and private cloud infrastructure, as well as help prosper continue to enhance the platform embracing infrastructure as code. additionally, you’ll be asked to troubleshoot and problem solve across platform and application domains. what you will do manage linux servers (centos, ubuntu) manage windows operating systems (windows 2012+) and active directory ruthlessly hunt down and resolve errors and issues change control, and adhere to procedural standards replace/migrate legacy systems to infrastructure as code participate in on-call rotation (follow the sun model) automate server deployments create system documentation and develop scripts to automate routine tasks manage infrastructure aspects of our kubernetes env (install/config, monitoring from systems perspective) you will also be exposed to some aspects of overall infrastructure operations (general data center and cloud infrastructure operations) here is what you will have to work with and what tasks you usually solve: -writing new or modifying existing scripts on bash/powershell/python - updating/patching existing linux/windows servers - creating new or modifying existing ansible playbooks for different services - deploying new services - updating kubernetes clusters - troubleshooting application failures or issues in os (linux/windows) managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure - installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools - ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability - writing and maintaining custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks - maintaining and supervising the inventory - troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise what you will need to have bachelor’s degree preferred 6+ years of relevant experience working with enterprise it infrastructure some experience with server configuration management software like ansible, puppet, chef, etc. some scripting ability with any of the following: powershell, shell, ruby, or python strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills devops skills, including building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations support one or more of the following: linux, docker, microsoft windows servers, active directory, iis 7.0 or higher, kubernetes, vmware virtualization, gcp preferred (aws experience is good too), nginx, jboss, monitoring/logging tools such as splunk, datadog, new relic, nagios, prometheus. respect for otherchr(39)s opinions and suggestions and willingness to participate in cross-team collaboration fluent english we offer the following working conditions: paid vacation, sick leave, and other benefits (compensation for the gym, necessary training, etc.)· internal communications in english· not a startup· participation in the development of a large product with a turnover of billions of dollars· international team* relocate package· business trips to the united states: to san francisco and silicon valley 2 times a year for 2 - 3 weeks to a partner relocation in bulgaria (sofia)!
