компания "kimep" department of quality assurance and institutional research is looking for applicants to the following position: job title: scientific officer department: quality assurance and institutional research position reports to: director job purpose summary: under the supervision of the director to contribute effectively to the implementation of institutional research and assessment (ira) activity at kimep. key responsibilities and duties: search, gather and analyze ir related information: both local and international; provide institutional research support by designing appropriate surveys and other data collection instruments; design and conduct regular and on-request surveys, prepare reports with accompanying tabular, graphic and statistic content using proper survey methods; use of appropriate computer software for developing and maintaining a data warehouse; contribute to the general reporting on the department’s activities; contribute actively in administrative duties, including administrative work in liaison with human resources department, accounting department, support services division, computer and information systems center, etc; perform other work as required by director. minimum qualifications: - master degree from a recognized university - previous work experience at research area - strong command of english, russian and/or kazakh - well-developed communication/writing, computer skills, confident user of ms office, be familiar with programs on developing surveys - ability to work successfully both independently and in team - readiness to learn and acquire new skills - good analytical skills and attention to details preferred qualifications: - knowledge of basic research methods including study design and data collection design - experience in research and statistics areas no less than one year - effective time management skills - ability to meet deadlines and work successfully under the pressure deadline for submission of applications/resumes is september 21, 2022 inclusive or open until filled. please indicate your salary expectations in kzt, net monthly.
