Remote Technical Support Engineer for APAC region

компания "plesk" position overview: support engineers deliver premier world-class support. the plesk support engineer performs a variety of tasks to support plesk customers by analyzing customer systems with plesk software or diagnosing system-specific issues, resolving those issues, educating the customer regarding solutions, best practices and/or then verifying and reporting defects. essential functions: • support plesk clients around the world to use plesk most effectively. • answer customer requests, investigate the reported issue, provide causes and resolutions, fix errors, or help customers to solve them. • expand knowledge base by writing articles about known issues and how to solve them. • work with plesk experts inside and outside the company to make plesk even better. • maintain technical expertise in plesk and related technologies up to expert level. eligibility requirements: • one to two years of experience in system administration of linux and windows servers • you are interested in becoming an expert in the field of web and hosting. qualifications: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. language skills - must be fully fluent in english (minimum 62 by versant) customer service requirements: • support customer requests by providing appropriate solutions within the time limits in a friendly and positive attitude; follow up to ensure resolution • ability to explain technical issues clearly and with sufficient detail • understanding that everything we communicate to the customer makes a difference in making the customer happy technical requirements: advanced technical skills which include: • have experience in system administration of linux and windows servers, • mastery of web server related technologies such as web server, mail, dns, sql, ftp, network under windows and linux. • plesk is a 24/7 operation and nontraditional or extended hours (including weekends and holidays) are required. would be an advantage: • redhat, lpic or microsoft certifications • you are familiar with plesk or took courses on our university
