компания "syntacore" st. petersburg, moscow, other locations syntacore is a leading provider of microprocessor technologies and tools, based on the opens risc-v architecture, founding member of risc-v international. we create flexible, highly-efficient processor technologies, which help customers to design unique solutions for the iot, data storage and processing, embedded systems, cognitive, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. our products are silicon-proven at multiple clients worldwide, including high-performance heterogenous multi-core systems with complex customization and isa extensions at technology nodes up to 5nm. we are actively involved into risc-v standardization, contributing to number of wgs and relevant conferences. our open-source scr1 core published under permissive license became one of the most popular risc-v processor github projects. responsibilities: define overall strategy and tasks for risc-v processor simulators of multiple levels and goals from fast functional-level (qemu) for application development, accurate isa-level (spike, etc.), to accurate cycle-approximate for architecture exploration (marss, gem5, sparta, etc.) communicate with stakeholders from soc simulators, developer ecosystem, verification teams and architects develop processor and system simulation models with risc-v processor family starting from embedded microcontrollers up to high-performance super-scalar cores, implement new isa extensions and new instructions work with open-source community, upstreaming changes to reduce maintenance costs and influence risc-v community hire new team members, define tasks, and review performance essential skills: experience with с/c++ and scripting languages experience developing simulation tools team lead experience or equivalent experience in linux development environment understanding of at least one processor architecture desirable: team lead experience of 3+ years development of core and system-level performance tools contributions to open-source projects knowledge of risc-v isa would consider motivated prospects with partial skills match. what we offer : competitive compensation, bonuses flexible working hours challenging tasks in friendly environment professional and career growth conferences/publications opportunities for interested parties
