Control Systems Engineer

компания "arrival ltd" about team: we are looking for a control system developer to join the software team within the battery product team. the software team are interested in researching and implementing modern approaches to battery management systems for electric vehicles. we are creating a battery management system for hv battery modules. this is a system of smart battery modules that implement performance and safety algorithms. our goal is a smart battery system that meets our companychr(39)s high quality standard, and moreover, is iso 26262 certified. we solve science-intensive top tasks, such as accurate and high-quality assessment of the battery state, including degree of battery degradation, power reserve under different environmental conditions, etc. your tasks will be development and implementation of safety-critical software applications for li-ion battery management systems based on high-level system requirements, matlab/simulink models; collection, analysis and management of requirements from both third-party customers and development teams of other electric vehicle devices; definition of test scenarios for testing the developed software based on the available specifications and description of the system architecture; testing and validation of developed by you, as well as existing software products of the bms team, and test automation in matlab/simulink; implementation of our software solutions on a hardware platform developed in our team together with an embedded system engineer; participation in the work on the analysis of the reliability and safety of the developed system according to the iso 26262 process, including (fmea) analysis. we expect from you higher education in the field of information technology, preferably specialization in tau; experience in the development of algorithms for control systems; understanding the process of building complex software from the start of a project to its completion; at least 2 years of experience in matlab/simulink environment and development of model-based software; structural approach to problem solving and ability to solve analytical problems; introduction to automotive spice and iso 26262; experience in using canoe, canalyzer will be an advantage; english at a level not lower than upper-intermediate for reading/documenting and oral communication with colleagues from england.
