компания "arrival ltd" our mission is to create the core systems and platforms behind arrival’s vehicles, to enable a true ‘plug and play’ approach as part of our new method for designing the vehicles of the future. in other words, we create the building blocks as well as the framework to link the elements together, in a simplistic but innovative way to ensure flexible functionality and the best possible user experience. device studio team within arrival is looking for a system architect with experience and passion in building complex engineer-faced products. youchr(39)ll be responsible for: understanding, elaborating and documenting the requirements for the system that automates electric/electronic architecture design for arrival devices. elaboration of domain model for device framework in collaboration with enterprise architecture. elaboration of a system architecture with dev team, with the focus on system performance, resiliency, and extendability. definition of most complex/business critical algorithms within a system, and their subsequent implementation review. data model design, with the focus on extandability, efficiency of key operations, and ease of troubleshooting. to be a device studio domain expert who is able to support the discussion on device studio related matters at any level of detail. help the rest of the team with user support and troubleshooting so that critical business processes do not get blocked. having fun at work, while delivering value to the organization. we expect: 7+ years of experience in designing, building and delivering complex automation-related products with vast domain model. good knowledge of system design and architecture techniques, notations and patterns (use-cases, uml, bpmn, sysml; distributed/monolithic systems and applicable patters; data modelling). ability to express own ideas visually, making complex things look less complex. ability to explain things to expert and non-expert audience. deep understanding and hands-on experience with modern tech stack: databases(rdbms, no-sql, in-mem storage), backend stack, front-end stack, deployment environments. deep understanding of software delivery approaches - ci/ct/cd fluent english. it will be a significant plus if you have experience with: automotive software and technology stack (or any safety-related embedded software) electric/electronic architecture of a vehicle or any of the core vehicle subsystems modern manufacturing automation and related technologies (alm,plm,cad, etc)
