компания "аддвайз" director of accounting and reporting is responsible for the direct management of all accounting and financial reporting functions within the company, including tax, financial and regulatory reporting; internal controls and financial risk management as well as compliance with contractual documents and government regulations. objectives of this role • direct the day-to-day actions of the entire accounting and reporting functions• ensure appropriate and correct accounting policies, methods and principles are in place and complied with. organize and communicate accounting policies and procedures as needed.• maintain and/or develop the internal control framework. ensure that accounting processes and operational functions are designed effectively to meet international standards, internal and ifrs controls and are implemented and consistently performed for all related activities across the company.• direct the management of the periodical and annual closing of the financial systems, ensuring that all activities are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with accounting policies, procedures and guidelines.• complete annual audits to ensure accurate and correct financial statements and other regulatory reporting as required• serve as the company’s liaison to the external auditors during their preliminary and final on-site field work, ensuring that the company has timely and accurately fulfilled all of its obligations and responsibilities as set forth in the terms of the engagement letter for the preparation and fair presentation of the financial statements in accordance with ifrs and other tax and regulatory reporting requirements.• produce financial statements by monitoring and evaluating accounting data• continual monitoring and assessment of the analytical tools and reports utilized with a focus on systems and process enhancements, automation and simplification supporting financial management of the company.• provide leadership and supervision to team of accounting, tax, internal controls and reporting. responsibilities: • develop, implement and keep updated appropriate and required policies, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties and systems in place• educate, build and maintain employee’s knowledge and capabilities with regard to accounting and control procedures• ensuring that the organization has the financial systems, policies, procedures, internal controls, segregation of duties and security access in place to safe guard assets and data• prevent or detect fraud and conflicts of interest.• promote accurate and timely internal and external reporting and analysis• ensure compliance with contracts, debt covenants, and contractual obligations; and ensure clean financial audits• preparing accurate, comprehensive, timely statutory financial reports and information in support of the company’s internal and external reporting requirements.• continuously improve how the accounting and reporting function can support other functions and their day-2day operations with a view to support the cfo and the senior leadership in integrating finance with other functions. requirements: skills and qualifications • 7+ years in similar senior role managing large and diverse teams in accounting and reporting• extensive experience with ifrs accounting and reporting requirements as well as other regulatory requirements• excellent analytical skills• strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful• proven success working with all levels of management and other internal and external stakeholders• strong written and verbal communication skills• capability to make decisions under pressure• ability to identify inefficiencies, re-engineer processes, prepare an action plan, and execute• strong attention to detail and a passion for digging into processes to better understand them and communicate the big picture• excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions.• strong presentation skills• fluent russian and english skills preferred qualifications • professional certification—appropriate certification, degree at master’s level in accounting, finance or related field. acca, cfa or similar required.• +5 year’s experience from working in big4• proven knowledge of accounting regulations, practices and standards• attention to detail, organization and accuracy• strong management skills and experience from managing large teams• ability to work with large amounts of complex data• firm attention to deadlines and legal and regulatory requirements• experience developing in-house procedures and internal processes and documentation of these• experience coaching and educating large teams. terms and conditions: • competitive compensation• candidate shall be ready to relocate to uzbekistan
