компания "brunel atyrau llp" position title: regional director, central asia location: astana, kazakhstan local or expatriate expat (only russian speaking) or local reports to: president, mena, and central asia regions overview the regional director will oversee our business activities in the central asia region. the regional director will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. as a regional director your duties also include guiding management staff in your region, identifying commercially and technically viable opportunities for company, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing performance, identifying best calibre candidates to execute projects, and ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld. ultimately, a well-seasoned director should be commercially savvy and able to perform efficiently in a high-pressure autonomous environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving. key responsibilities analyse and evaluate potential projects both technically and commercially managing internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiating contracts including senior government officials provide strategic direction, planning, and managing the development and implementation of company policy and procedures and providing adequate protection for employees, facilities, equipment, and parts. achieving business goals and revenue targets. overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives. recruiting, training, and supporting country leads as well as conducting regular performance appraisals. developing and implementing regional business plan. planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective. maintaining effective internal and external reporting and good controls complying with company anti bribery and corruption compliance guidelines preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports of operations and finances. experience renewable energy infrastructure development experience excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. proficiency in microsoft office, with crm systems, and project management tools. excellent leadership and decision-making skills. ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ability to understand and work successfully with senior management and peers and apply appropriate cultural sensitivity in all business dealings and communications. strong sense of urgency and commitment to quality outcomes. ability to create and articulate the corporate vision influencing organisational values, individual and group goals, and management systems. working effectively with engineering and operational teams to accomplish organisational goals. capacity to delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinates and monitor progress in a multidiscipline and cohesive team environment. qualifications a tertiary engineering qualification with post-graduate qualifications in project management would be highly desirable, or relevant equivalent hands on industry experience on similar projects culture fit genuine – honest to themselves and others humble demonstrates humility team player engaging and energetic committed high integrity values driven customer and people centric innovative personally, and professionally continue to grow
