Direct report to Marketing Director The mission Innovation Marketing Manager should oversee new market opportunities and growth projects, lead the development of Innovation projects from the initial ideation stage till the moment of activation. The Role Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets Monitor and evaluate industry trends and consumer drivers, and lead innovation strategy and pipeline together with the marketing team Manage innovation process, from ideation stage till the activation accumulating own vision and inputs from various sources / brand teams and cross functional teams Generate new leads, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics Analyze product and category data and information to support the development of a 2-5 year innovation pipeline Create and develop mid to long-term innovation plans for new products across our key brands and consumer need states Partner with Global Strategic Insights team, Global and Local marketing leadership, Global R&D to develop, screen and validate new product opportunities Leverage both internal and external development avenues to maximize commercialization pathways and gain access to best in class products that will accelerate our growth plans Manage the assessment and prioritization of existing and proposed innovation opportunities for all brands Collaborate with cross functional partners to establish product profile, consumer research, success hurdles, internal status updates and launch recommendation Set up and lead the new innovation product process and innovation platforms for all Brands Oversees on-going analytical support to innovation initiatives in areas of key performance indicators (KPIs), such as competitive analysis of segment competitors, critical trend analysis, and syndicated research review Responsible for Innovation team budget and forecasts Work in “White Space” and pursue curiosity to continually drive projects forward with a solution-oriented approach Lead the strategic management of our innovation pipeline scorecards and prioritization decisions at the highest levels of the organization Lead cross-functional teams comfortably into new strategic directions based on sound data and business rationale Work with business proof points to demonstrate future potential of investment asset Searching for potential supplier – working closely with Co-manufacturing The Candidate Higher education in Marketing 3+ years experience in a similar role in FMCG Active user MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Nielsen Answer is a must) Experience in market research (qual or (and) quant) Strategic capabilities coupled with good analytical skill (sees connection in data, trends, quickly analyzes complex problems) Strong project management skills and ownership Good understanding of P&L, POI, Strategic planning / S&OP cycle Ability to influence at all levels, including executive leaders global, regionally and in-country English
