Tax Consultant (С2/С3) – Corporate Tax Group – Tax Department - Almaty/Astana

компания "deloitte, caspian region" deloitte is seeking for consultant 2/ consultant 3 to join the business tax group in tax & legal department at the almaty / astana offices (remote work available). what you can do in tax consulting we’re a new generation of tax consultants who bring strategy, technology, compliance and tax advisory together to identify where businesses and organisations need to be, then get them there. this is about solving complex intellectual challenges. helping clients make the right decisions, on a worldwide scale, by working collaboratively and creatively. practical tax advice combined with our consistent tax compliance framework instills confidence that a consistent approach is followed across jurisdictions. we help simplify tax management and oversight while providing global visibility for making informed strategic decisions. the role will involve: as part of our team, you will have a difficult, but interesting and dynamic job. you will be working under direct supervision of a senior consultant or manager. your responsibilities will include working on client projects with a team, analysis of tax legislation and preparation of memorandums or reports, as well as specific tasks as given by senior team members, including: preparation of draft tax recommendations, reports, memorandums for the review of senior team member keep track of legislative developments, both per kazakhstani legislation and international practice preparation of various internal documents and complying with internal policies and procedures, carrying out administrative tasks develop and maintain strong professional relationships with our clients work in teams, supervise work of junior staff on various tax projects and report to senior personnel develop junior staff requirements: higher education in accounting, finance, economics or mathematics(tax-specific education and/or study at a foreign university would be considered an advantage) acca, cpa, cfa or similar qualifications (or obtaining qualification in progress) and accreditations preferred 2–3 years of tax consulting or accounting experience, preferably in big4 understanding and practical application of kazakhstani tax legislation as well as international taxation issues fluent spoken and written russian and english strong tax technical writing and analytical skills good analytical, organizational, delegating and coaching skills good team player, quick learner and motivated to professional development and career growth availability for occasional business trips
